Well, apparently red is the color that is going to be hip in the next few months. We only wonder — why does it have to be in exclusive editions sold to select markets?OnePlus has just announced that it will be launching a Lava Red OnePlus 5T… in China.
The finish will be available on the $559 variant of the phone, with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There is absolutely no word on whether it would become available for international markets as of yet.
But, knowing OnePlus, if the fan community gets loud enough, that might just happen. The OnePlus 5T has only just launched a couple of weeks ago. It’s pretty much a OnePlus 5 internally, but has an 18:9 display with thin bezels around it, and a swapped out camera module.
The latter means that the telephoto lens of the old OnePlus 5 is gone and now we have a “night” camera, which is supposed to take better photos in the evening, but we wouldn’t say we were blown away by the actual results. Hey, actually, check out our full review of the phone here!
